Indicate in note if photos are available to enhance the
story. Photos must be clear and sharp and must be
200dpi minimum JPEG.

Limited to legitimate events open to the general public and
to benefit legitimate local charitable organizations. Submit
full details about event (who, what, when, where and why).
Be sure to include name and phone number of contact
person. We no longer accept faxes or printed releases that

Holes-in one: holeinuno[at]chicagolandgolf.com
We accept reports of aces made at golf courses or by golfers
who live in our circulation area. Submit names and towns of
player and witnesses, golf course name, hole number and
yardage, date made and any other interesting or unique
details. All hole-in-one claims will be verified with the club
professional before being published unless they are reported
by the golf course.

Tournament results: scoreboard[at]chicagolandgolf.com
•Limited to legitimate events open to the general public or run
by local golf organizations. Submit full details about event (who,
what, when, where and why).
•For results (agate) we request run-in style, listing first and last
names and towns of the competitors separated by commas and
final scores in descending order. Separate each player’s name,
town and score with a semi-colon.
(Example: John Smith, Berwyn, 79; Larry Brown, Lisle, 80;)
•We no longer accept faxes or releases that require typesetting.
We cut and paste only from the body of an email. No attachments.
Text files only.
•You must include the name of the course, the par and the yardage
at which the event was played.
•You must include a contact name and phone number.

Note: Chicagoland Golf does not publish any press releases or
announcements that lack news value. For example, a press
release announcing a change in golf prices, weekday discounts,
or special stay-and-play packages at resorts don't stand a
chance. (New product news will be evaluated on a case-by-case
